COMPETENCY IN THE FRENCH LANGUAGE

All courses are taught in French. Hence it is compulsory to have a B1 level in French.
European levels: evaluation grid

Depending on the type of mobility, some departments may be less exacting in terms of mastery of the French language. To know the level of requirements of the departments, contact the coordinator of international relations of the department.

I am aware of the minimal demands in the French language and I know an inferior level will mean a trip back to my home institution at my own costs.

STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS - HANDICAP
INSURANCES

I know the Haute École does not insure incoming students. Incoming students should subscribe personally, at their own costs, without any intervention from the Haute École:

  • An insurance covering their civil liability as well as any accident happening during academic activities.
  • A Health Care Insurance.

The evidence of these insurances has to be produced at the registration at the Haute Ecole.
The Haute École recommends that incoming students should also subscribe:

  • an insurance covering their civil liability as well as any accident happening during private activities.
  • an insurance covering, if needed, their repatriation.
